i hope u're not talking about anelka again he's a very good player Compared to who? Titus Bramble? =)I grew up watching Zidane, Djorkaeff, Petit, Guivarc'h, Deschamps, Thuram, Desailly, Makelele, Dugarry, Vieira, Lizarazu, Trezeguet, Henry, Candela.. When I see the current squad, when I see the way they're playing, when I hear Domenech talking about astrology, I go all: " YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME! " I still lvoe them though, and I always will. They were the first team I supported and the team I've learned all the laws, positions, tactics, formations on. I didn't know 10 Romanian players by then, but I knew the whole France squad. I still remember the match with South Africa and how confused I was at Issa's own goal

You know, being an American, I was never really into football until now. I never saw the World Cup matches until 2006. Anyways, my point is, I think Anelka is a great player. He's a bit slow for Ribéry, but I think once Domenech learns ( ) to use him well, Anelka will be an asset to the team.

lol alexandra...i remembered about titus bramble.god what a loser i can't blame u for not liking anelka,u grew up watching a team who gave real football lessons to the world believe it or not,i started watching football at 15 years,at euro 2004.very late for a boy...and i started liking france in 2005,so i didn't watch the golden generation but my brother, who is the same age as u,started watching football at 8(same as u i think, since he's born in 1990 like u) or 9 years.he's very 'in love' with slovenia, our national team, even if they're not very good.but he's been watching them since he was a little boy and that matters a lot. i'm sure that's what u're like too. it's so great that a girl,a 8 years old girl, started watching football and loving a team that's not her national team. u and my brother has the oportunity to see world's greatest football era and that's very cool. i understand your disapointment, but u have to understand the situation.the team has changed and maybe there won't ever be other players like zizou, petit, cantona, thuram.u have to get used to the curent team. p.s.: last year u sent me that pic with u watching the 1998 world cup final,france-brazil,u with the france flag and the zidane t-shirt.if u still have it,pls post it!!! it's so sweet and funny, especially ur concentrated face ;D

LOL I posted in other thread. But you saw the post, I'll look for it these days. My dad found the flag LOL, he started laughing. I got so sad, I'm looking over the 1998 WC, Euro 2000. 2002 WC, Euro 2004, 2006 WC pics. I miss that team so much! I found the pics with David crying on that balcony, after the 2006 WC and so many pics with Henry hugging Zizou, I really started crying. I just can't love this new team as much as I loved the other one. I mean, I love Gallas, Abidal, Ribery, Henry, Vieira, Sagnol ( and DAVIIID ) Giuly is in the pics too. Now I really hate Domenech.

I was so confused about a million things for the Euro France team, it wasn't funny.
1) Why Coupet played the game against Italy after letting 4 goals go by against the Dutch, especially when Sebastien Frey PLAYS in Italy and knows the Italians better.
2) Why Willy Sagnol started before Francois Clerc when he was injured/not playing for most of last season.
3) Gomis. WTF.

Because they have Domenech as a coach LOL. Did you see at yesterday's game when he made a substitution in the 92nd minute? Gourcuff entered the field, played like 10 seconds and the match was over How could he do this to him? Or at Euro, in the match with Italy, with Nasri I'd liek to see a France national team coached by Arsene Wanger! We'd kick asses LOL

I was relieved to see Gourcuff get a senior call up so he can quit playing for the Under 21s, but one minute? Did he even touch the ball? I would like to see Yoann Cabaye get a call up, he's a great player.
I think it was a month ago where Dugarry completely blasted Domenech and said that they players wouldn't respect because he never won anything and that Didier Deschamps should coach France. I think Wenger would be awesome, too.
